There is a new studio in Tagbilaran City

It is called Sideroom Studios!

Sideroom Studios is a Bohol-based photography studio that offers studio portraits, wedding & events photography, on-location sessions, photobooth for all occassions, premium albums & prints and studio rental for photographers.

The studio opened on January 8, 2012 with a blessing and inauguration lunch attended by business partners, friends and colleagues.

Ryan Macalandag, the studios lead photographer shoots weddings, studios session, prenuptial, on-location photography and studio portrait sessions.

The studio’s photobooth is also a banner product.

Photographers are also welcome to rent the studio for their own personal or commercial shoots at a very competitive price. This is very helpful for photographers can’t afford equipment to be able to use the studio for their photography work.

To inquire, go to www.sideroomstudios.ph and ask about Sideroom’s services and products.

Bauer Family Photo Session in Bohol

The Bauer Family – dad Patrick, mom Nikki and son Noah – were visiting Bohol for a vacation. While here, they wanted to have a family photo session at the beach so Nikki – who is also a photographer in the states – hired me for an afternoon shoot.

They stayed at Amorita Resort which was appropriate enough for our photo shoot location. The villa and garden of Amorita provided a perfect backdrop for a few sets of fresh and comfy family photos.

After that, we went down to the beach for a couple hours more of fun shots until sunset.

Here are some of the photos from the Bauer Family photo session.  Please click on the link for a gallery of more photos. We love your likes, shares and comments so keep ‘em coming.

Ryan & Angeli Contemporary Style Prenup

Ryan and Angeli are getting married in 2013 and this early, they wanted a contemporary style prenup in Bohol. We rented a vintage Mercedes to compliment the look and scoured the city for new and excitable locations to shoot. We headed for the Yu-Patindol construction supply place and had a few contemporary shots.

After that we went to a junkyard (huge Sulay and Manfel buses) in Antequera for a few more and finished in Punta Cruz in Maribojoc for a sunset set. All in all, it was a fun experience. The couple, Ryan and Angeli, were a joy to shoot.

Here are a few shots from the couples contemporary Bohol prenuptial photo session. Enjoy!

Michael & Natalie Bohol Prenup

Michael & Natalie are such sweet couple. And they were quite game, too. They flew in from Manila early morning of Saturday, 19th of February this year and we started shooting around ten that same morning. They also brought their own props and all. (Dang, I forgot to ask Natalie to leave the kite with me.)

Best Locations for your Bohol Prenup

No doubt, Bohol is the best destination for your prenuptial photo session. The island province south of Manila, a boat-ride from Cebu, has everything to offer — from white sandy beaches to crystal clear blue waters, from world-renowned natural wonders to centuries-old cultural attractions.

A prenup session in Bohol would be a total package for the couple. We have a lot of resorts, hotels and accommodation to suit every type of tourist or traveler.

Here are a few of our best sites:

1. Chocolate Hills – The Chocolate Hills are an unusual geological formation in Bohol, Philippines. According to the latest accurate survey done, there are 1,776 hills spread over an area of more than 50 square kilometers (20 sq mi). They are covered in green grass that turns brown during the dry season, hence the name. source: wikipedia

2. Baclayon Church – The Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in Baclayon is considered to be one of the oldest churches in the Philippines. It is one of the best preserved Jesuit build churches in the region, although in the 19th century, the Augustinian Recollects added a modern facade and a number of stone buildings that now surround the church. source

Rex and Jazzy Prenup Session @ SIDEROOM Studios

This is sort of a prenup photo session for Rex and Jazzy who got married last Saturday, February 12, 2011. We did not have time for an on-location prenup but we needed a photo for display at the reception venue. We opted for a studio shoot at Side Room Studios instead.
